Melrose Trading Post

I haven't had much to write about on here considering I've just been working the last few weeks. Last weekend, I decided to go to the Melrose Trading Post, which was recommended by a lot of different people. Melrose Trading Post is basically a street fair with all of these different vendors selling jewelry, clothing, antiques, vintage furniture, hats, accessories, and basically anything you could imagine. Everything was relatively cheap and each of the vendors had such different, interesting, and unique items. It was so fun to go from vendor to vendor and dig for hidden treasures. I ended up getting a vintage bangle bracelet & a fedora. I absolutely loved all of the vintage furniture that was for sale, and would definitely buy all of my furniture there if I had to furnish an apartment (which I might have to do soon).

A lot of the vendors sold antique and vintage pieces, such as these cool globes and the typewriter.

This little shop sold all studded clothing and accessories. They had studded shoulder bags, studded jean vests, studded shorts, and studded boots! Literally everything was studded. All of these items were definitely made by hand too!

These skull beads were really pretty in all of the different colors! I actually bought a skull bracelet with the cream color skulls from Brandy Loves Melville, the Italian store I wrote about in an earlier post.

Here you can see some of the vendors set up in this high school parking lot. The Melrose Trading Post sets up every Sunday from 9-5PM, rain or shine!

Here you can get a taste of what the street fair looked like - it was just hundreds of these little areas, set up like a garage sale! It was so much fun to dig through!

There was a section of the street fair where they were selling all different types of food. Street fair food is always the best and so was all of this. I saw a women with this nacho basket with all of this delicious food poured on top including guacamole! My favorite!

Golden Vintage Dress - costume party anyone?

I snapped this shot and uploaded it to Instagram while I was there. I thought it looked cool with all the vintage, leather bags in the picture!

I ended up purchasing a Fedora, that I'll most likely never wear, at the fair. I see so many girls wearing them out here and they always look so cute that I figured I would buy one too! Maybe if I go back to the Melrose Trading Post this Sunday, I'll wear mine! All of the girls who were here last week, were all dressed so fashion forward, putting together these adorable, "hipster-like," super cool, outfits, that if I tried to pull off would probably just look dumb haha.

I really wish I purchased this Neverland picture. I might go back and see if it is still there!

Here is some of the furniture I thought was really cute. It all looks worn down and used, but that vintage look is so in right now - I love it!

Overall, I loved Melrose Trading Post! It's a great place to spend your lazy Sunday!
